So, I started working for the non-profit org, "Save the Children". As much satisfaction I get at the end of the day knowing I'm helping save children each time I raise a dollar; it has increasingly made me more bitter towards the human race. It's so sad to me that I could make somebody aware of such a horrible situation, yet they can tell me, "I'm not interested" within seconds of my rap. How can such a huge issue create a reaction such as, "i'm not interested". It's flabbergasting. Yes, I said flabbergasting. It's very frustrating going to people's doors (knowing you're doing it for a good thing), yet you get such horrible reactions, like, "Can you please get off my property?" or "Why are you bothering me?" and especially, "I'm not interested". I know it's difficult to give when somebody comes out of nowhere at the door, but how can you NOT give something as measly as $2.00. I know it's a bit creepy to have somebody come to the door asking for money, however when you receive a receipt for your own paper trail or write a check to "Save the Children"...I don't think it could be such a horrible thing. It's rather perplexing.Anyway, that's enough of my venting. If anybody does want to give this Christmas (or even afterwards), please let me know. You can check more out at www.savethechildren.org
Onto further news (positive news), I officially enrolled in my first class at UCLA for web/graphic design. By having two jobs, I'm hoping to pay for this education that way I don't have to have any loans afterwards. I think it'll be worth it. I'm uber stoke
